These terms apply when you use Central Meetup (centralmeetup.com). By creating an account you agree to them.

A learning project

Central Meetup is a learning project. We build it to learn how to make and run a website. It is not a commercial service. Features, buildings and data may change or be removed while we learn, so do not rely on it for your business.

The service

Central Meetup is free. A signed-in business can claim one building and fill it in, and it shows on the map right away. We may change, pause or stop the service at any time.

Your account

• Give a real email address and keep your password to yourself.
• One building per business.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Your content

You keep ownership of your name, logo, text, link and works. You give us permission to show them on Central Meetupwhile your building is live. You confirm you have the right to use them.

Business listings

Every time you save your building, you tick a box that says:

I may act for this business, and it owns or has the right to use its name, logo, images and product details. I let Central Meetup show them, with prices and links back to our site, free, non-exclusive and only to list the business. I can withdraw this any time by giving the building back.

We record when you agreed and which version of this wording you saw. If you give us your Shopify store, we read its public product list only to show your products on Central Meetup. We never show that link.

To withdraw, give your building back.

Review and removal

A person approves every new building before it goes on the map, and checks each edit after it goes live. We may take down or remove any building. We take down by default:

• Supplements, peptides, drugs, cannabis
• Political or religious campaigns
• Promises of financial returns, gambling
• Adult content, weapons
• Logos or names you are not allowed to use

No guarantees

Central Meetup is provided as it is. We do not promise any number of visitors, clicks or customers, or that the site will always be available. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses from using it.

Leaving

You can give your building back at any time. We may close accounts that break these terms. See the Privacy page for deleting your data.

Changes

If these terms change, we will update the date at the top. Using the site after that means you accept them.
